Camp Descriptions
Broadway Bootcamp: Get ready for Broadway and bring your best singing voice to our Broadway Bootcamp! Campers on Fridays will showcase their skills they learned during the week in the final 30 minutes of camp time. Open to all age groups week 1 and week 6.
Horses: Does your camper have horse experience, or are they wanting to get experience with horses? This is a great summer camp for your camper! Work with our experienced horse staff members as we learn more about grooming, tacking, and riding a horse. On Friday, there will be a rodeo for families and friends to see all the skills their camper learned during the week during the last hour of camp time. Open to all age groups and all camp weeks AM.
Art: Learn from a current UNF art student about different types of art! Campers will spend the week learning about different art styles and expressions, and the goal will be to take home some art by the end of the week (paintings, 3-D, etc). Available to elementary/intermediate campers week 3 PM and week 5 AM.
Biking & Exercise: Has your camper wanted to learn how to bike, but you don’t know where to start? Are you wanting your camper to stay active this summer? This is the camp for them! Spend part of camp time learning and (hopefully!) independently riding a bike, and the other time doing some kind of exercise activity. A popular specialty camp! Available to elementary/intermediate only weeks 1 and 6 PM.
Ceramics: Learn from a current UNF ceramics student more about hand building ceramics! Campers will get their hands messy as they learn more about different hand building techniques and work on building a small piece to take home by the end of the week. Available for elementary/intermediate week 2 in the PM and secondary/transition/postgrad week 5 in the PM.
Music: Does your camper love singing and trying new instruments? This camp week is from them! Learn from a certified music therapist about different types of instruments and different types of music. Available to elementary/intermediate only week 5 PM.
Sports: If your camper loves sports and trying new sports, this one is for them! Spend each day learning about a sport and how to play the sport. Examples from last year include football, soccer, and pickleball. Open to elementary/intermediate only week 4 PM.

Are you interested in volunteering for our Summer Enrichment programs this summer? We would love to have you! We would prefer volunteers who are able to commit to a full week of summer camp, and who can also attend our orientation dates (to be later announced).
We are currently seeking volunteers who are 14 years and older to assist us with our summer programs, primarily our horse camp in the AM and our elementary/intermediate specialty camps in the PM. Volunteer responsibilities may vary, so we ask that you be flexible.
