Episcopal School Invites Students for Service Day

NFSSE Secondary and Transition students returned from spring break with a day of fun at Episcopal School of Jacksonville.
It’s part of  Episcopal’s Community Service Day. “Each grade does something different. Some are gardening, working at food pantries, provided labor at job sites.” explains Paige Montero (’22) Community Service Council President. “Community is so important here at Episcopal and is engraved in you the moment you walk on campus, and in order to uphold our values, it’s important to share those outside our campus. It makes us all better people.”
NFSSE students boarded buses and arrived at Episcopal to dozens of students who were eager to play games, share stories, and learn more about each other. Whether it was doing chalk art on the campus courtyard or playing Gaga ball on the activities field, there was something for everyone’s interests. After a two year hiatus due to Covid-19, this was a return to event for NFSSE which has participated in the event for several years. The day wrapped up with a group photo and some tired students.
